Mount Roraima is one of the most distinctive and iconic mountains in South America. Located on the border between Venezuela, Brazil, and Guyana, it is part of the so-called "Tepui", a flat-topped plateau that stands out among the region's rainforests. This Tepui is known as one of the oldest on the planet, dating back more than two billion years.

Mount Roraima is especially famous for its steep, rocky slopes and for its flat mesa at the top, which spans about 31 square kilometers. Its altitude reaches approximately 2,810 meters above sea level. The vertical walls of Roraima create a stunning and unique landscape, with waterfalls trickling down from its cliffs and a diversity of wildlife that includes carnivorous plants, exotic orchids, and animals adapted to this unique environment.

In addition to its natural beauty, Mount Roraima has been the subject of several legends and stories, inspiring literary works such as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Lost World," which describes an expedition to a forgotten, prehistoric land atop an isolated mountain. Since then, Mount Roraima has attracted adventurers, climbers, and tourists from all over the world, eager to explore its unique and mysterious landscape.
